I won my first camera at 9 years old in a foot race in Illinois. It didn't take long to realize that photography was my passion. I pursued my passion by taking apprenticeships with professionals and numerous photography classes all over the country. By 1986, I had opened and operated a successful studio, with work encompassing weddings, portraits, real estate, commercial photography and more. In 1994, I moved my studio and home to a beautiful setting right here in the Flathead Valley and have operated my studio by word of mouth.

I live with my husband, Lance, and 18 year old son, Neil, on our 20 acre property along with five horses, four dogs and three cats. My husband operates Alpine Cabinets - a custom cabinet shop.

I am a member of the Montana Professional Photographers Association and I regularly study with the top portrait artists in the country to refine my craft.
